Fall 2016, Kingston and Randall Heath were the co-contributing editors for the double theme issue of IA, The Journal of the Society for Industrial Archeology titled "Industry Change, and Cultural Identity in New Bedford, Massachusetts." Included in the volume is Kingston's essay, "From Whalers to Weavers: New Bedford's Urban Transformation and Contested Identities," Volume 40, Nos. 1 & 2 (back dated 2014), 7-32. He will be presenting the Hanbury, Evans Endowed lecture to the Historic Preservation Program at the University of Virginia next fall.
